Discover Vietnam and Cambodia’s natural wonders and fascinating cultures on this small group tour with a combination of guided excursions and free time to explore beaches, ruins, urban culture, and awe-inspiring landscapes.

Days 1 - 3: Hanoi & Halong Bay, Vietnam

What’s included: Halong Bay caves entrance & overnight boat cruise including a seafood lunch, dinner and breakfast


Arrive into Hanoi and you’ll meet your small group and local leader for a welcome meeting at the hotel. Once settled in head off and enjoy the dynamic and atmospheric capital with a host of museums, enchanting pagodas and charming restaurants to choose from. On day two board your traditional junk boat at Halong Bay harbour and cruise out onto serene waters. Sail past limestone karst mountains jutting out of the water, creating spectacular scenery. Swim, kayak or go cave exploring on one of the islands, indulge in fresh seafood meals and drift to sleep in a cosy cabin on board.

Day 4: Hue

What’s included: Imperial Citadel, Royal Tomb and Tien Mu Pagoda tour


Departing Hanoi you will board the overnight sleeper train to Hue. On arrival start with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, before a visit to the ornate Royal Tombs of Vietnam’s former emperors.  Choose to add a motorbike tour for those wanting to see Hue with an experienced guide, an exhilarating way to discover hidden gems of the city.

Days 5 - 7: Hoi An

What’s included: Noodle making demonstration and lunch, scenic drive over the Hai Van Pass


On route to Hoi An cross over the Hai Van Pass, an epic scenic route winding through the mountainside with fantastic views in all directions. With so much to see it’s great you have plenty of time to enjoy; opt for a cooking class, riverboat trip, bike ride or simply relax on the beach. Dive into the culture, relax on the beach or get clothes tailor-made in one of the many shops around town. A highlight is an included noodle making demonstration and lunch at the G Adventures supported Oodles of Noodles.

Day 8 - 10: Ho Chi Minh City & Mekong Delta

What’s included: Cu Chi Tunnels entrance & tour, Mekong Delta day trip


After a short flight take a guided tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a complex network of underground passageways which the Viet Cong used during the war. Then enjoy some free time in this bustling city, visit the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace or head to a local vendor for some delicious delicacies. 


Board a small boat and navigate through the narrow canals of the Mekong Delta, seeing local villages, islands and even a visit to a traditional candy factory.

Days 11 - 13: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

What’s included: Cyclo tour, Tuol Sleng and Choeung Ek (Killing Fields) entrance & guide


Cross the border into Cambodia and after arriving into Phnom Penh enjoy a cyclo ride around the city to see some of the highlights including the Royal Palace and National Museum. Whilst here you will take a guided tour to the site of the infamous Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng, the notorious Khmer Rouge prison.

Days 14 - 15: Siem Reap

What’s included: Two-day Angkor Wat complex entry, guide & sunrise tour and Local Khmer Meal


Drive through the Cambodian countryside and arrive in Siem Reap the base to explore the ancient city of Angkor.  Whilst here uncover the highlights of this ancient capital including the enigmatic Bayon within the walled city of Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm, also known as the ‘Tomb Raider’ temple. Watching the sun rise over Angkor Wat is an experience not to be missed!

Day 16 - 17: Bangkok, Thailand

Journey through the dramatic countryside of Cambodia and cross the border to the vibrant capital Bangkok. Enjoy a night here to uncover the hidden gems of this busting metropolis with your group before saying your goodbyes - but if time permits extend your stay to spend some more time in the city or add a relaxing beach stay at one of Thailand's islands!
