Dreaming of a room with a view for your next holiday? Trailfinders offer plenty of hotels with great views across the world, but the team have put their collective heads together to pick the best of the best and ranked our favourites from 10 to 1.

10. Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore

Boasting Singapore’s first ‘Garden-in-a-Hotel’ concept, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay features a huge skylit atrium containing over 2,400 plants and trees. The astonishment certainly doesn’t stop there as you are met with dazzling views of Singapore’s skyline and Marina Bay. These views are best enjoyed at night from the outdoor pool bar, ideally sipping on a cocktail as the city lights come alive around you.

WHY NOT upgrade to a Marina Bay Room so that you can appreciate the stunning views from your own private balcony?

9. Bellagio, Las Vegas

A Las Vegas icon, the Bellagio is centrally located on the glittering Vegas strip surrounded by the other big names, so is perfectly positioned for exploring the playground of America. It boasts an eight acre lake with mesmerising 150m high ‘dancing’ fountains which put on a dazzling show every 15 to 30 minutes from mid afternoon into the night.

WHY NOT upgrade to a fountain view room where you’ll have your very own front row ‘seat’ for the fountain show – the music is even piped through the TV in your room.

8. Mahali Mzuri, Masai Mara

Sit back and let the wildlife come to you at this luxurious camp. Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s safari camp, located in a private conservancy, part of the wider Masai Mara ecosystem and along the path of the annual Great Migration. The views from the 12 luxury tents are simply unparalleled, offering sweeping views over the plains.

WHY NOT take to the skies on a hot air balloon ride at sunrise for an unforgettable experience (and unbeatable views)?

7. Jade Mountain, Saint Lucia

Perched high on a hillside and designed by a visionary architect, each of Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries (they are so much more than mere rooms!) is reached by an individual bridge guaranteeing a wow factor on arrival. Once over the threshold you can’t help but catch your breath as the entire front wall is completely open to the elements, providing you with the most incredible views over Saint Lucia’s iconic Pitons and the crystal clear Caribbean Sea.

WHY NOT upgrade your sanctuary to one which includes a private infinity pool? Combined with the 24/7 butler service which can provide in room drinks, meals and even spa treatments, it’s easy to see why some guests choose to never leave their sanctuary during their stay!

6. Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

The only hotel that is directly located on the emerald waters of Lake Louise, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is considered the historic jewel of the Canadian Rockies. Aside from immersing yourself in this incredible landscape, the hotel is renowned for the high levels of service and its fantastic amenities. The afternoon tea served in the restaurant is particularly popular for its elegant setting and incredible views over the lake.

WHY NOT wake up to views of glistening waters surrounded by soaring peaks by upgrading to a lake view room? This option is highly recommended by all of our visiting staff who have been lucky enough to have stayed at this iconic hotel.

Each of the yurts features a private deck to admire the dramatic views and a skylight for a magical evening of stargazing from the comfort of your bed. The lakefront yurts are particularly special for their outdoor Jacuzzis directly overlooking the glistening lake – the perfect way to unwind after a hike!

WHY NOT get an up-close view of centuries-old glaciers while on a scenic cruise through Grey Lake? This is just one of the many fantastic excursions the hotel offers.

4. Gritti Palace, Venice

Dating back to 1475, and perched right on the Grand Canal, the majestic Gritti Palace provides breathtaking, panoramic vistas of the Santa Maria Basilica across the water. A particular highlight is the restaurant terrace which sits on the water’s edge, providing the perfect al fresco dining spot. If you can bear to tear yourself away from the wonderful views, there’s a water taxi stop just outside the hotel, so you can explore the bustling waterways. St Mark’s Square is also just a short stroll away.

WHY NOT opt for a Grand Canal facing room - you won’t regret it!

Set on Thailand’s secluded Koh Yao Noi Island and reached by a speedboat from Phuket, every private pool villa here is surrounded by natural wonders.
