Whether it’s a glamourous luxury escape or a laidback family getaway, the soft white sands, warm tropical weather, calypso beats and rum punch will draw you back to Barbados again and again.

West Coast

Often referred to as the ‘Platinum Coast’, this sheltered shoreline with crystal-clear waters is the perfect location in Barbados for swimming and snorkelling and is home to many sophisticated hotels and restaurants. 


Visit upmarket Holetown with its excellent shopping and nightlife or wander round characterful Speightstown where historic buildings intermingle with modern and you can shop from local street vendors or watch the fishermen unload their catch.

South Coast

The breezy south coast offers impressive beaches with swaying palms and bright turquoise seas where you can find some impressive surf spots. Explore the charismatic capital, Bridgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in history and culture or watch a game of cricket at the Kensington Oval. 


This is a great option for where to stay in Barbados for those looking to party; head to the numerous bars at St Lawrence Gap where you’ll find live music most nights, and don’t miss the renowned Friday Fish Fry in Oistins where both locals and visitors flock to sample fresh local seafood.
