3 Night Hollyford Track

Day 1 Queenstown to Te Anau                                        
Depart Queenstown this afternoon on the coach journey to Te Anau. Those joining the tour in Te Anau will need to make their own way to the Distinction Luxmore Hotel Te Anau for the evening briefing.                                              

Day 2 Te Anau to Pyke River                            
Depart Te Anau after breakfast and travel to the fantastically remote Hollyford Valley where your guided walk begins. Walk alongside the swift clear waters of the Hollyford River, beneath the gaze of the mighty Southern Alps and through native beech forests to reach Pyke Lodge for a relaxing evening.                                                
                         
Day 3 Pyke River to Martin’s Bay            
After a hearty breakfast, visit Lake Alabaster before boarding a jet boat to cruise down the Hollyford River and along Lake McKerrow. Stop at the pioneer settlement of Jamestown and start your walk along the thunderous surf of the west coast to spot the rare fiordland crested penguin. Spend the night at the Martins Bay Lodge.

Day 4 Martin’s Bay to Queenstown                    
Explore the isolated beach and sand dunes at Martin’s Bay Spit before boarding a helicopter for a scenic flight along the rugged coastline to spectacular Milford Sound. Transfer to Te Anau or Queenstown where your adventure ends.
