WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT ANTIGUA?

The Caribbean enjoys a tropical climate with warm weather all year round. However, the best time to visit Antigua is during the drier months which is generally December to July where you can expect pleasant temperatures, lower humidity and minimal rainfall.

Every Sunday on the south coast on a clifftop called Shirley Heights, there is an event where locals prepare traditional Caribbean food and there is a live steel band overlooking one of the best views on the island. Most hotels will arrange taxis to and from, and it's suitable for families, friends or couples of any age.

Make sure you experience English Harbour, a fully restored Georgian dockyard. Now a hub of bars and restaurants it is a great place to relax and admire the impressive boats moored there.
