WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT QATAR?

The weather in Qatar varies throughout the year. Qatar offers a dry, subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. Generally, the best time to visit Qatar is between October and April when you can expect pleasant temperatures and minimal rainfall.

The hottest time of the year is during the summer months when average temperatures reach above 40C and humidity is at its highest.

Time Zone: Qatar is 3 hours ahead of GMT

Getting to Qatar: Flights to Qatar take approximately 7 hours

Currency: Qatari Riyal (QAR). ATM's are widely available in larger towns and cities, and most restaurants, shops and hotels will accept credit/debit cards

Tipping: Tipping in Qatar is customary but not obligatory. A 10-15% tip for service staff is usually sufficient

Language: The official language of Qatar is Arabic. English is widely spoken in tourist areas
