There’s no shortage of wonderful things to see and do in Hong Kong, but no visit is complete without riding the Peak Tram to Victoria Peak, where you can take in breathtaking views over the city’s famous skyline. Other highlights include wandering along Victoria Harbour’s waterfront or exploring the scenic landscapes and walking trails of Lantau Island. For a truly unique experience, ride the Central–Mid-Levels Escalator as it carries you through lively districts towards the cafés of SoHo and the antique shops lining Hollywood Road.
Hong Kong is renowned for its exceptional food scene, offering everything from freshly prepared seafood in bustling local markets to refined Cantonese dishes in elegant restaurants. Shopping is equally impressive, with a wide range of options from high-end designer boutiques in stylish malls to vibrant street markets filled with unique finds and local character.
Trailfinders offers a range of Hong Kong holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information about what to do here, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Hong Kong with a stay in a luxurious hotel, as part of a longer trip through Asia, or as a stopover to destinations further afield - they are the perfect people to ask.

In the evening head towards Kowloon's waterfront to see the spectacular skyline dazzle during the unforgettable Symphony of Lights show.

Victoria Peak certainly has incomparable views across the city - getting a taxi to the top and the tram back down is a brilliant way to experience it all and avoid the queues!

Consider getting an Octopus card on arrival at the airport. This can be used for most travel, stores and fast food purchases (similar to an Oyster card in London) But don't forget most of the old style trams will take you for a fixed rate of HKD 3.30 (30p!) whether you're going one stop or ten!
