Armenia Holidays

europe
Armenia holidays offer beautiful natural scenery, fascinating culture, a wonderful fusion of cuisine, and warm and welcoming hospitality.

This beautiful country is located in the southern part of the Caucasus region. First stop on many people's list is Yerevan, Armenia's attractive capital city, which is watched over by the towering Mount Ararat.

The most popular stop outside of Yerevan, Lake Sevan is nearly 2,000m above sea level and surrounded by historic monasteries. If you only visit one monastery at the lake, make sure it's Sevanavank for a scenic photo stop and to breathe in the fresh air. Nearby to Yerevan, visit Zvartnots Temple, a masterpiece of 7th Century architecture which also boasts breathtaking views of Mount Ararat. A memorable stop on any trip to Armenia, visit Ejmiatsin, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Mother Cathedral of Ejmiatsin stands as one of the world’s oldest Christian Cathedrals.

Lori in Northern Armenia is a lush alpine region and home to the 12th Century Haghartsin Monastery, set in a scenic forested valley. There are also vineyards in the area, reminding you that this is one of the oldest wine making regions on earth.

Trailfinders offers a range of Armenia holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Armenia on an unforgettable and unique private tour, combined with Georgia, or a social and convenient guided group tour or are looking for advice on how to combine Armenia with a visit to neighbouring countries – they are the perfect people to ask.
