Saudi Arabia Holidays

the middle east
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spans the vast majority of the Arabian Peninsula and boasts absorbing cities, a remarkable culture, an abundance of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and breathtakingly diverse landscapes. The nation’s rich heritage and traditions have been shaped by its position as a historic trade hub since ancient times and as the birthplace of Islam. In recent years, conservative Saudi has undergone a cultural transformation, evolving century-old customs to fit the contemporary world we live in today.

Discover unparalleled heritage sites and archaeological wonders in AlUla, where dramatic desert landscapes reveal stories of ancient civilisations. Explore the spectacular mountain scenery and lively markets in Ta’if, renowned for its cool climate and fragrant rose gardens, or the dynamic energy of Riyadh, where cutting-edge architecture and historic districts blend tradition with modern sophistication.

Experience Saudi’s unique culture and traditions first hand. As a relatively newcomer to international tourism, Saudi Arabia holidays offer a fascinating experience, one very different from the rest of the Middle East.

Trailfinders offers a range of Saudi Arabia holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore the destination on a sociable guided group tour, or combined a holiday to Saudi Arabia with some beach time in Dubai or Abu Dhabi – they are the perfect people to ask.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT SAUDI ARABIA?

Contrary to popular belief, it is not always hot in Saudi Arabia! The kingdom experiences four distinct seasons from chilly breezes in January to searing desert heat in August.

The optimum time to visit the kingdom is between October and March when the days are typically balmy and the evenings mild. Given the extreme heat across the country, it is not recommended to travel during the summer months.
