Bali Holidays

Famous for its fabulously luxurious resorts and spa retreats, rich culture and relaxed pace of life, Bali has long been a favourite South East Asian destination.

The southern beach resorts offer world-class accommodation, fantastic shopping and an extensive variety of dining and entertainment opportunities. But beyond the palm-fringed beaches and vibrant resorts of the south, this enchanting island boasts a lush green interior bursting with dramatic natural beauty. Lose yourself in the beautiful countryside surrounding the cultural centre of Ubud where terraced rice fields spill down the hillsides, rivers snake through tropical ravines and temples dot the landscape at almost every turn.

Bali possesses a unique magic and is the ideal place to escape the stresses of modern life.

Trailfinders helps thousands of people a year plan their holidays to Bali. Our experienced, well-travelled consultants will help you choose how you’d like to get around, where you’d like to stay and how you’d like to experience the attractions, seamlessly creating your perfect Bali holiday.

    Bali Beaches
Famous for its fabulously luxurious resorts and spa retreats, rich culture and relaxed pace of life, the beaches of Bali have long been a traveller's favourite. The southern beach resorts offer world-class accommodation, fantastic shopping and an extensive variety of dining and entertainment options.
The most upmarket of the west coast beaches, this lively resort offers some of Bali’s best boutique shops, creative galleries and dozens of restaurants. The impressive beach is long and wide and far less crowded than nearby Kuta. Once the sun sets, this trendy and vibrant resort comes to life and is the place to see and to be seen.
    Nusa Dua
Home to some of Bali’s best known hotels, this gated resort area offers beautiful white sand beaches, manicured gardens and sparkling clear waters. The beach promenade stretches the length of the resort and is the ideal place for a lovely stroll as it hugs the coast and connects with the nearby resort of Tanjung Benoa.
This relaxed beachfront town offers a great selection of local shops and restaurants and is particularly popular with families thanks to the sheltered bay, ideal for swimming. Numerous cafés are dotted along the winding beachfront path offering the perfect place to pause and take in the view.
    Jimbaran & Bukit Peninsula
Picturesque Jimbaran Bay is famous for its beautiful sunsets, crescent shaped white sand beach and renowned selection of excellent local seafood restaurants. Further south is the striking temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu and the rugged Bukit Peninsula, home to a range of stunning clifftop resorts boasting lavish suites and villas, many with spectacular Indian Ocean views.
    Candi Dasa
Found on the rugged east coast, this area offers peace and tranquillity, stunning landscapes and a traditional way of life. Local villages are easily accessible and there are many snorkelling spots a short drive away. If relaxation is the order of the day, this resort is the ideal place to get away from the crowds and simply enjoy the black sand beaches and peaceful scenery.
Best known for its arts and crafts, Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali. In addition to the artists’ workshops and galleries, there are numerous temples, palaces and a superb dining scene to explore. Surrounded by stunning landscapes of terraced rice paddies and towering coconut trees, a stay in Ubud is an essential part of any visit to Bali.

There’s some wonderful ways to enjoy holidays in Bali with Trailfinders. A private tour offers the opportunity to discover the island with your own driver and guide or perhaps a small group adventure tour is more your style? A great option for those who like to travel and share their experiences with others.

Cycling holidays are a wonderful choice if you want to get off the beaten track and really experience local life and don’t forget that Bali is also a popular port of call for many cruise lines these days too.

We've done the hard work for you and selected the very best hotels in Bali.
