WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT WESTERN USA?

The best time to visit Western USA varies by region and its mountainous landscapes can have a big impact.

Between May and October, Summer days bring high temperatures in Arizona, Utah, Texas and parts of Colorado, whilst the mountains and Oregon and Washington coasts offer the perfect summer weather of blue skies and a cool breeze.

The spring and autumn offer mild temperatures with snowmelt turning mountain streams aquamarine and spring flowers in abundance. From November to April, temperatures drop with mild winters in the desert regions to fantastic snowy winter playgrounds in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.
