Réunion Holidays
maldives mauritius & seychelles
With much of the island a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this little piece of France in the tropics captures nature at its most flamboyant. With colourful Creole villages surrounded by a breathtaking landscape, Réunion is one of the Indian Ocean’s most seductive and memorable destinations, just waiting to be discovered.
The unique circumstance of its creation lends the landscape an other-worldly quality, and makes the island one of the most bio-diverse areas on the planet. From the arid west coast to the verdant tropical forests, dramatic gorges to remarkable lava tunnels, crystal clear lagoons teeming with marine life and spectacular eruptions of one of the world’s most active volcanoes, this is nature at its most vibrant and colourful. It is easy to see why it is known by its inhabitants as the wild island.
Trailfinders offers a range of Réunion holidays, and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information about what to do here, often with first-hand travel experience.

I always highly recommend booking excursions and restaurants in Réunion before departure, so that you don’t have to miss out once you arrive.

Packing cubes are a godsend! I always pack a clean set of clothes (any my swimsuit, if needed) in my hand luggage, just in case my checked bag goes on it's own adventure. I take a single universal adapter and then a UK extension cable so I don't have to worry about multiple plug types or outlets.
