    South Africa
A holiday to the Rainbow Nation combines incredible wildlife encounters, spectacular scenery and moving history in an unforgettable mix. World-famous national parks and game reserves offer the chance to spot the Big 5 on a once-in-a-lifetime safari, vibrant Cape Town is home to iconic Table Mountain and Robben Island and the vintages of the Cape Winelands are renowned the world over.

Add white sand beaches, lush nature reserves and historic battlefield sites to the mix and you have yourself an epic holiday with something to suit everyone.
Kenya boasts some of the world’s best known game reserves where herds of animals wander across endless grassy plains, predators stalk their prey and stunning scenery accompanies you at every turn. There is however more to Kenya than just tracking the Big 5 – from the snow capped peaks of Mount Kenya to the dusty northern plains and white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean coast, a trip to Kenya is full of variety.
Tanzania delivers some of the planet’s most impressive natural spectacles, from the wildebeest and zebra herds roaming the plains of the Serengeti in their thousands, to the powder soft sands of Zanzibar. With the towering peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro beckoning the more adventurous, Tanzania’s reserves, beaches and peaks promise the perfect African experience.
An enlightened ecotourism policy has kept the crowds away and protected Botswana’s pristine and contrasting landscapes. The compelling beauty of its vast, untamed wildernesses is unforgettable.
Zimbabwe offers an appealing mix of varied and exciting safaris as well as the magnificent Victoria Falls. With fewer visitors than some of its neighbouring countries, a safari here can offer a greater sense of adventure as you visit the lesser known landscapes and game reserves.
Famous for the truly magnificent Victoria Falls, Zambia is a country blessed with awe-inspiring landscapes and a diverse eco-system resulting in an incredible array of wildlife. A land where the people are friendly, travel is safe, spaces are wide open and the opportunities to enjoy excellent game viewing activities are endless.
Mozambique’s pristine islands are blessed with dazzling white sands and the enticingly warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Fly into Vilanculos and enjoy the unspoilt islands of the Bazaruto Marine NP which offer world class diving, snorkelling and fishing in waters which are home to turtles, dolphins, seasonal whales, Manta rays, rare dugongs and sharks. Equally, opt for a few days further south on the stunning laidback Machangulo Peninsula, accessible by road and boat from Kruger. Mozambique is perfect for a magical holiday of barefoot relaxation.
Madagascar is a vast island offering a host of natural wonders and a unique and rich biodiversity. Deep in the heart of the famous national parks you’ll find lemurs, giant chameleons and prolific birdlife, not to mention some spectacular scenery including rainforests, rice terraces, desert-like plains and the famous Avenue of the Baobabs.
Morocco offers a taste of the exotic. From the stunning imperial cities of Marrakech, Fes, Meknes and Rabat, to the rugged beauty of the deserts and the High Atlas Mountains and the coastal port town of Essaouira, each corner of this breathtaking country offers an abundance of fascinating culture and rich history to discover
Namibia promises a truly unique travelling experience, with landscapes, culture and wildlife encounters unlike anywhere else in Africa.
The small landlocked country of Rwanda boasts one of the world's biggest wildlife experiences - the chance to see endangered mountain gorillas. Although most visitors come to see the gorillas, Rwanda has so much more to offer besides, with spectacular mountain scenery, a thriving capital and friendly people.
The dense forests of Uganda are renowned as one of the last remaining habitats of endangered mountain gorillas. Venture further and discover more of the country’s beautiful scenery and varied wildlife, from the chimpanzees of Kibale to the raging rapids of the River Nile at Jinja.
It’s no exaggeration to say that Ethiopia is unique in the whole of Africa. With a Christian history dating back centuries, unique cultural beliefs and some of the finest mountain scenery on the continent, this is an African holiday with a difference
The monuments of ancient Egypt are so spectacular and enduring that they have been tourist attractions since before Roman times. The iconic Pyramids and Great Sphinx are as astounding today as they were centuries ago and in Cairo you have one of the greatest Arabian cities in the world literally full to the brim with history.
A visit to Sudan means an unforgettable adventure. Bring a sense of humour and a positive attitude and in return, you'll be rewarded with encounters with friendly locals, incredible star gazing in the desert and more pyramids than Egypt! Culturally fascinating and rich in ancient sights, Sudan is for those who have truly been there, seen it and done it.
Tunisia is more than just a bucket and spade beach destination. Beyond the coast you'll find a treasure trove of historic sights, almost untouched by the crowds you'll find elsewhere.
    Cape Verde
Resting off the coast of West Africa, settled by Portuguese colonists and with a long history at the hub of great trade routes, Cape Verde offers an intriguing mix of cultures to complement its stunning beaches and mountainous beauty.

Whilst many are content to just flop on the perfect beaches in search of some winter sun, the variety of the ten volcanic islands that make up the archipelago rewards the intrepid island hopper.

    West Africa

Visiting West Africa is nothing if not an adventure! The diversity in culture, language, music, food and landscapes is incredible. From the Francophone streets of Dakar to Togo, the traditional home of the Voodoo religion, you'll find surprises at every turn.

Things don't always go to plan in this part of the world so we offer a small selection of guided group tours ensuring that you make the most of your time in this lesser visited part of Africa.

    Central Africa

Just the journey itself is an adventure in Central Africa. Only serious travellers need apply but those who do will find a region of friendly locals, lush and untouched countryside and ever-changing cities.

Scenic Malawi boasts dramatic peaks, misty forests and friendly people, but its best known attraction is beautiful Lake Malawi, the third largest lake in Africa. A number of charming resorts are set beside the lake's pristine white sand beaches, lapped by crystal clear waters, and offer the ideal spot for a laidback off-the-beaten-track beach break.
