Coffee Region Holidays

Colombia’s coffee region (or Zona Cafetera) boasts a landscape of sweeping valleys, lush plantations and rolling hills dotted with traditional haciendas and colonial towns.

Located in the heart of Colombia the three main towns are Manizales, Armenia and Pereira and these are often referred to as the ‘coffee triangle’. There are also a number of pretty villages to visit, Salento is probably the most popular of these, with its colourful architecture, cobbled streets and many restaurants.

This region is also home to the Cocora Valley with its towering wax palms and Los Nevados National Park. Here you can find some of Colombia’s most striking scenery and some excellent hiking.
