Chobe Game Lodge

This lovely lodge boasts a unique position on the banks of the Chobe River, the only permanent lodge within the national park itself. The skilled all-female guiding team lead game drives and safari cruises using an innovative fleet of vehicles which includes silent, electric-powered 4WDs and solar-powered boats. For those travelling with children, the hotel can tailor your stay with family focused game drives, flexible meal times and morning hot chocolates for a cosy start. The location of the lodge ensures that guests will be the first into the park every morning, providing the best possible opportunity for photographs of the wildlife without any disturbance.

The property has extensive lounge and dining areas, all beautifully furnished with locally inspired décor and textiles, while its 250m riverside boardwalk is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing and sunset drinks. All dining options are alfresco, from the main restaurant to the riverside boma and even private dining locations along the boardwalk. For those after a drink, the main bar offers panoramic views of the riverfront whilst the unique Linyanti Bar resembles a traditional Bedouin tent and provides a relaxed ambience. When you're not out exploring or indulging in the variety of refreshments, take a dip in the shaded pool or enjoy an African-inspired body ritual and treatment at the spa.

The 44 rooms and suites are located in two storey units facing the river. Standard Rooms are elegantly furnished with a private terrace and luxurious bathrooms. Those wanting more space or travelling with a family can upgrade to the Triple Room with its spacious terrace and lounge area. Family Suites feature two bedrooms (one double, one twin) sharing a bathroom, plus a terrace with plunge pool, while Honeymoon Suites have the added benefit of a lounge and dining area plus a spacious terrace with private plunge pool. Please note there are no TVs on the property to preserve the tranquillity.
