Kyaninga Lodge

Perched on the rim of a volcanic crater high above Lake Kyaninga, this fantastic property boasts spectacular views. A range of activities is available including guided walks around the crater rim, in the nearby forest in search of monkeys and other wildlife, or around surrounding villages. Facilities at the lodge include a tennis court, badminton and croquet, plus a pool with great views. Steps also lead down to the lake’s edge where it’s possible to swim in the clean waters from a floating jetty. The main lodge features a cosy lounge with a fire and a lovely restaurant, where guests can enjoy long evenings with delicious food and fine wine. The 9 cottages are beautifully crafted with comfortable furnishings and are very spacious with a seating area and a private terrace (no fan or air-conditioning).

Please note as this lodge is set on a hillside with many steps it is not suitable for the less mobile.
