Nong Kiau Riverside

This rustic resort boasts an incredible location along the banks of the Ou River, surrounded by forest and mountains, just a short walk from the sleepy town of Nong Khiaw. After a day spent cruising the river or hiking in the hills, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and dine on great local food in the restaurant. Each of the 15 simple bamboo bungalows is basic but comfortable, with no air-conditioning, but hot showers and wonderful views of the river and mountains from the balcony. This property offers a wonderful rural experience, but the remote location does mean facilities are limited and power cuts possible.
