Shrouded by limestone monoliths and tangled verdant fronds lies Elephants Hills Tented Camp; Thailand’s first luxury rainforest camp. Set in the heart of the spectacular Khao Sok National Park, Elephant Hills is perfect for families and couples alike, hosting a multitude of activities and providing an incomparable opportunity to observe rescued Asian elephants in their natural habitat. Comprising of two camps, the main safari-style “Elephant Camp” set within verdant jungle and “Lake Camp”, floating on the tranquil waters of Cheow Larn Lake, Elephant Hills offers an immersive stay allowing for a true appreciation of the natural beauty of this stunning region and the wildlife that call it home.

Choose from either “Jungle Safari” or “Jungle & Lake Camp Safari” packages; “Jungle Safari” packages include stays exclusively at the Elephant Camp whereas “Jungle & Lake Camp Safari” packages include a night’s stay at Cheow Larn Lake. All packages provide full board and free transfers which combine easily with a beach stay in Khao Lak, Phuket, Krabi or Koh Samui, or for those taking an overnight train from Bangkok, free transfers are also available from Surat Thani Station. Elephant Hills Jungle Safari, 4 Day Adventure Package


The Elephant Camp is the base for the entirety of this four day (three night) adventure package, surrounding you in the natural beauty of this region.


Day 1 is spent with the elephants, learning about the duties of the mahouts (elephant keepers) and preparing the animals' food. A canoe safari exploring the Sok River is also included.


Day 2 is spent exploring the mangrove forests by speedboat and canoe. In the afternoon, cruise on a classic Burmese junk with lunch on board.


Day 3 starts with a longtail boat journey on stunning Cheow Larn Lake. Discover the spectacular surroundings by canoe before heading back to the Elephant Camp.


Day 4 begins with an easy jungle trek before transferring to your onward destination.

Elephant Hills Jungle & Lake Camp Safari, 4 Day Package


Spend nights one and two at the Elephant Camp and night three at the Lake Camp for this four day/three night adventure package:


Day 1 begins with observing the majestic Asian elephants; learn about the duties of the mahouts (elehpant keepers) as you prepare food for these gentle giants. Enjoy a canoe safari exploring the Sok River in the afternoon before an evening spent back at the Elephant Camp where you can choose from a host of activities including, a movie presentation, dance performance or cooking demonstration.


Day 2 commences with a journey through the fig tree channel by speedboat followed by an opportunity to explore the many mangrove passages with self-paddle canoes. Relax, with an afternoon at leisure before an evening back at the Elephant Camp.


Day 3 starts with a longtail boat journey on stunning Cheow Larn Lake. After lunch, enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest up close on an easy jungle trek before heading back to the Lake Camp for dinner and your overnight stay on the Lake.


Day 4 begins with a guided canoe safari and wildlife spotting followed by lunch back at the Lake and an opportunity for one last swim before transferring to your onward destination.

For those looking for a shorter stay, three day/two night Jungle Safari packages based entirely at the Elephant Camp are also available, as well as three day/two night Jungle & Lake Camp Safari packages including one night each at both the Elephant Camp and Lake Camp.
