The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel

The location of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel is excellent - no it's not in the 'heart' of the city but it's not far away, just a short walk and you benefit from the stunning views over Lake Ontario... the rooms also look back over the city so we could see Union Station, CN Tower close by too.

It's a large hotel with an excellent range of restaurant and services.

We were there in February after a large snowfall, the Lake View rooms came into their own. Looking out from our lovely warm rooms watching locals ice skating on the frozen lake and the Ward Island ferry cutting through the ice. The sunrises were spectacular too!

Even in winter the roads and paths are impressively clear from snow and ice, but it’s still easy to get around the city from the Westin as there is an entrance to the Pedestrian Walkway near the hotel, linking the whole city up indoors.
