Set in a folk-style inn crafted using time-honoured methods, this ryokan is the perfect place for an authentic taste of Japanese culture. Known as the beauty bath due to its cleansing effects, skin is left feeling refreshed and smooth. Dinner at the hotel is served in private dining rooms with dishes inspired by the seasons and crafted from locally sourced ingredients, including highland vegetables, fish caught in local rivers and high-quality Hida beef.

Standard rooms opt for a traditional design with tatami woven, rice straw mats and legless zaisu floor chairs. Superior rooms are spacious with sleeping and living areas divided by shoji screens. Guest rooms with an open-air bath are perfect for those wanting to relax in the privacy of their own hot spring. Split across two floors, the maisonette rooms provide an open-air bath, bathrooms with indoor baths on both floors and plenty of space to relax.
