The Wood Takayama

Near to the sake breweries and cafés of Takayama’s wonderfully preserved Edo-period old town, discover this peaceful zen sanctuary. All the rooms contain the minimalist design and wooden furnishings that are found throughout the communal areas of the hotel. Standard twin rooms are compact, with twin futon mattresses on a raised Tatami mat, whilst the triple rooms feature an additional mattress for three guests. Deluxe rooms are perfect for those looking for more space to unwind and also have the relaxing addition of a bathtub.
