Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel Expert Review
Scott Morrell
Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is a good value hotel for a break in Cyprus.
Excellent location, a 15 minute taxi away from the airport, and a 15 minute walk to the harbour area along the beach.
There’s a good breakfast choice, and the hotel offers half board but we didn’t opt for this as prefer eating out in different places. We did in the harbour area of Paphos where there’s a good choice of different cuisine, from Italian to Chinese and of course traditional Cypriot (I would recommend going to Three Little Pigs and Hondros for the latter!)
Hotel facilities are good; there’s a few different pools, plenty of sun loungers, flumes for the kids and spa for the adults. We got a great massage which was about EUR50.
It’s a rocky beach where the hotel is situated, but there are a few sandy beaches within a ten minute walk from the hotel on the way to the harbourfront.
Top tip: Nick's Watersports, situated on the path to the harbour about ten minutes along from the hotel, has some great options for some thrills on the water. We did a tandem parasail and jet-skis for EUR60 per person. Parasailing was brilliant with some incredible views over Paphos.

Trailfinders Hotel Classification Guide
Modest accommodation with basic facilities, representing good value where price is the main priority.
Simple, comfortable accommodation and facilities offering good value for the destination.
Good standard of accommodation and/or facilities and overall a higher level of service may be expected.
High international standards of accommodation and facilities where luxury and quality of service are priorities.
Indicates that the property offers a higher than average level of accommodation and facilities when compared to other properties of the same classification.
Unique, often smaller and sometimes historic properties, which offer individual charm and are consequently very popular. They offer the standards of accommodation indicated by their classification but rooms may be smaller than average and not all facilities may be available.
Trailfinders classifications are for your guidance only and do not mirror any international "star rating" system. In each case, the full description of the property should be read and used in conjunction with the classification indicated. A 3★ city hotel, for example, may be more expensive than a 4★ if it is in a prime location. Classifications are unique to a destination and can reflect local or regional variations in quality and service, so a 5★ in a particular area may not be comparable with a 5★ elsewhere.
