Amirandes, A Resort To Live

Amirandes is very spacious and has facilities to suit everyone. They have a sports area with tennis, football, padel, basketball and table tennis, all complete with a schedule set up by the hotel to get the best out of the facilities. There's a few private beach areas with plenty of sunbeds to enjoy.

Dining is a real highlight on site, they have a buffet restaurant open for all meals offering a variety of food, along with a few a la carte options. They have a traditional Cretan restaurant on site which serves amazing family style dishes – the lamb is their signature dish which was easily in the top three dishes of my trip! Petrino is their seafood restaurant serving fresh seafood, calamari and grilled octopus. But the best of the bunch is Minotaur - this restaurant is home to a huge Picasso collection and is a truly amazing setting for dinner. The food here is outstanding - the number one dinner of my trip and a must for every stay.
