Argos in Cappadocia

Situated in the heart of ancient Uchisar, Argos in Cappadocia is simply stunning and is the perfect place to experience Cappadocia in all its glory. My stay at Argos was one I'll always remember, and I can confidently say from start to finish this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. From the scenery surrounding the hotels grounds to the attention to detail from the staff; everything was impeccable. Everyone we spoke to was extremely polite and very welcoming, I felt well looked after the whole time and tried some of the best Turkish food in my life - Cappadocian style of course!

The hotel has its own private vineyard onsite and use the grapes for their wines on the set menus in the two hotel restaurants: Seki and Nahita. Make use of the indoor spa facilities during your stay including an indoor cave pool and sauna/steam room which are free to use for hotel guests. However, I highly recommend trying a traditional Hamman (Turkish bath) for an extra cost to unwind.

The location of the hotel is fantastic; very close to all the main sights including famous Goreme, but you still feel nestled away up in the hills away from the more touristy spots. The outdoor pool really is something special, overlooking the fairy chimneys and gorgeous mountains. The pool bar offers international/local choices from beers, cocktails, mixers and wine. You're spoilt for choice every breakfast with authentic Turkish food - breakfast is buffet style but you can order off the menu for certain options such as Gozleme if you would like to try something traditional.
