Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay

Mövenpick Resort & Spa is a very good 4★+ option in Tala Bay - around 20 minutes from Aqaba City. It’s a large hotel set on a private beach with many swimming pools – it always felt very peaceful and it was never a chore to get a sun lounger.

We stayed in a suite that overlooked the pools which was very spacious and comfortable. As it’s a larger property the lead in rooms can be a lot further away from the pools/beach/restaurants, so it's worth the upgrade to be nearer.

The hotel has lots of restaurant options and bars - all of which offered a good selection and food standards were good as well as offering different cuisines (the Italian in particular was very good). Various daytime entertainment options - table tennis/football/volleyball etc. Dive centre on site also offers snorkel trips to explore the Red Sea marine life.

This property is a great option for those that want a relaxing beach trip after several days of touring.

Top tip: shuttle busses run all day to/from Aqaba City for those that want to go shopping or explore the city.
