Estancia La Bamba De Areco

One of Argentina’s oldest ranches, this historic estancia offers a sophisticated escape from the city. There are opportunities to ride horses, take excursions by horse-drawn carriage and explore by mountain bike. Back at the hotel, unwind by the outdoor pool and soak up your beautiful surrounds. During polo season (Oct - Nov) you can often catch matches and practice sessions on the property’s polo fields. An active part of Argentine heritage, the hotel offers optional gaucho shows with musical entertainment, folk dances and more. Savour the delicious food served in the dining room, from grilled meats and empanadas to a traditional English tea.

The 11 rooms and suites feature dark wooden floors, antique furniture, local textiles and modern art, offering an understated elegance. There is no wi-fi or televisions in the rooms, allowing you to truly disconnect and embrace the romance of the estancia. 

Gaucho Room: offering a simple elegance with antique furniture and dark wood flooring, it provides views of the surrounding grounds, garden and Argentine pampa, with direct access to the outside. 

Pampa Room: as above, yet offering a queen bed or twin bed option. 

Colonial Room: upgrade for extra space. Some rooms have views of the polo fields. 

Colonial Suite: larger in size, it features one queen and two twin beds with views of the grounds, garden, Argentine pampas and the polo fields.
