Day 1  Fly to Maun, Botswana

Days 2-3  Maun
After a pre-night at a hotel, meet your group at your campsite on the banks of the Thamalakane River.

Day 4  Maun to Okavango Delta
Journey to the Okavango Delta and join a team from a local village who will guide you deep into the delta in a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). In the afternoon, head out on a game walk in search of elephants, buffalos and hippos and other smaller mammals.

Day 5  Okavango Delta
Embark on an additional game walk this morning with the local villagers, before a mokoro trip this afternoon along the river to watch the sunset from the water.

Day 6  Okavango Delta to Maun
Transfer back to Maun and enjoy an afternoon at leisure to relax by the pool or perhaps take a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta.

Day 7  Maun to Makgadikgadi Pans NP
The Makgadikgadi salt pan covers over 10,000 sq miles of a dried-up ancient lake. Head east to the salt pan in time to catch the spectacular sunset.

Days 8-9  Makgadikgadi Pans NP to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Rise early for a long drive north to the border of Zimbabwe and cross to Victoria Falls. Spend the next day exploring, perhaps choosing to take an optional sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.

Day 10  Victoria Falls to Chobe NP, Botswana
Cross back into Botswana to the town of Kasane. This afternoon is free to perhaps join a river cruise on the Chobe River for one of the best game experiences in Africa.

Days 11-12  Chobe NP to Savuti
Enjoy a morning game drive in the wildlife rich Chobe Waterfront area. Travel to the southern edge of Chobe National Park, the often-dry Savuti Marsh. Home to plenty of game including lions, cheetahs and hyenas which follow the seasonal zebra migration through the marsh.

Day 13  Savuti to Moremi GR
Pass through a variety of habitats including the Mababe Depression en route to Moremi Game Reserve. Known as the jewel in Botswana’s wildlife crown, Moremi is made up of waterways, marshland and islands that help to protect the Okavango Delta.

Day 14  Moremi GR
Try to spot the elusive leopard and cheetah on game drives throughout the reserve as well as the red lechwe, a water dwelling antelope that graces the waters of this protected area.

Day 15  Moremi GR to Maun
Enjoy one final game drive through Moremi Game Reserve before heading back to Maun.

Days 16-17  Fly home
