Captivating Cairo & Sharm El Sheikh Beach

Day 1  Cairo      
Fly to Cairo and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing at your own pace.

Day 2  Cairo            
This morning, head to the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. With an expert Egyptologist as your guide, learn about the history and construction of these remarkable structures dating back nearly 4,000 years. This afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 3  Cairo            
Enjoy a free day in Cairo. Perhaps begin by exploring the historic Islamic quarter and wander its streets lined with beautifully intricate architecture and mosques, many of which are free to enter. Whilst here, visit the popular marketplace of Khan el-Khalili filled with bustling stalls, shops and cafés. Break up your explorations with a visit to Al-Azhar Park which offers beautiful views of the city skyline. From here, why not venture to Old Cairo to see the heart of Egypt’s Christian heritage, encompassing the Babylon Fortress, the Coptic Museum and the Hanging Church.

Day 4  Cairo              
Today, be astounded by the spectacle and scale of the Grand Egyptian Museum. Overlooking the pyramids of Giza, the world's largest archaeological museum displays a collection of 100,000 artefacts spanning over 5,000 years of Egyptian antiquity. Highlights include the spectacular 4,500 year old funerary boat of Khufu, a colossal 11m high statue of Ramses II in the entrance hall, and the complete collection of treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore or relax at your choosing.

Day 5  Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh      
Leave the city behind and transfer to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh, a glorious beach resort destination.

Days 6-11  Sharm El Sheikh      
Spend the next few days unwinding in serene Sharm El Sheikh. Located on the southern coast of the Sinai Peninsula and close to Ras Mohammed National Park, Sharm El Sheikh boasts golden sand beaches, year round sunshine and an array of fantastic resorts. The warm clear waters of the Red Sea are renowned for offering some of the world’s most amazing underwater scenery, with colourful reefs and an incredible variety of exotic fish, making it a snorkelling and diving paradise.

Day 12  Sharm El Sheikh      
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
