Day 1  Cairo              
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel, Four Seasons Cairo at the First Residence.

Day 2  Cairo            
Start your Egyptian adventure by exploring the ancient Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx. Accompanied by an expert Egyptologist guide, you will discover the remarkable history of these extraordinary structures.

Day 3  Cairo            
This morning you will visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum with an expert Egyptologist guide. This museum is home to an incredible array of artefacts which date back to around 5,000 years ago and include the renowned Tutankhamun collection.

Day 4  Cairo to Aswan            
Fly to Aswan and transfer to the Sofitel Old Legend Cataract Aswan, spending the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy this iconic property.

Day 5  Aswan              
This morning take a short flight to Abu Simbel and discover this magnificent temple complex with a private guide. This ancient wonder is home to the both great Ramses II temple with its colossal statues guarding the entrance and the Queen Nefertari temple, which has been masterfully carved in to the red rock face.

Days 6-8  Nile Cruise  
Board the luxurious Oberoi Zahra, your home for the next 3 nights. Enjoy your days on board voyaging along the majestic Nile River. Visit Aswan’s impressive High Dam and the temple relics of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo and visit its remarkable twin temple, before continuing to Edfu where you will discover Edfu Temple, an Ancient Egyptian place of worship, dedicated to the deities Horus and Hathor. Cruise onwards to Luxor, and explore the iconic Valley of the Kings, where many of the great pharaohs were buried. Upon reaching Luxor your final destination, visit the temple of Medinet Habu, Colossi of Memnon stone statues, and the superb temples of Luxor and Karnak.

Day 9  Luxor              
Disembark and transfer to the Sofitel Winter Palace, Luxor. This evening see the ancient temples of Karnak by night. Witness a spectacular sound and light show as the temple complex comes alive as it’s flooded with light and you hear tales of the history of Thebes and its powerful pharaohs.

Day 10  Luxor              
This morning start your day with an unforgettable hot air balloon flight, taking in the beautiful colours of the sunrise as it illuminates the surroundings, whilst you peacefully drift over the Egyptian desert and Luxor’s historic temples. This unforgettable experience is worth the early rise. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the tropical gardens and inviting pool at your hotel.

Days 11-14  Luxor to the Red Sea              
Head east across the desert to the luxurious Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh, by the Red Sea. Spend your days here relaxing on the beautiful beaches or opt to snorkel or dive amongst the stunning coral reefs. Transfer to Hurghada airport for your onward flight.
