Day 1  Fly to Cairo  
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2  Cairo  
Start your Egyptian adventure by exploring the colossal ancient Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx. Accompanied by an expert Egyptologist, discover the incredible history of these extraordinary structures.

Day 3  Cairo  
Visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum with a private guide, home to a fantastic array of artefacts which date back around 5,000 years and include the renowned Tutankhamun collection.

Day 4  Cairo to Aswan  
Fly to the charming city of Aswan.  Spend the rest of the day admiring the spectacular Nile Valley views and relax on the riverbanks, watching feluccas sail past.

Day 5  Aswan  
This morning, take a short flight to Abu Simbel and discover the magnificent temple complex with a private guide.  This ancient wonder is home to the   Ramses II temple with its colossal statues guarding the entrance, and the Queen Nefertari temple, masterfully carved into the red rock face.

Days 6-8  River Nile Cruise
Board the magical Movenpick MS Sunray, your home for the next three nights, and enjoy days on board voyaging along the majestic River Nile. Visit Aswan’s impressive High Dam and the temple relics of Philae before sailing to Kom Ombo to see its remarkable twin temple. Continue to Edfu Temple, an ancient Egyptian place of worship, dedicated to the deities Horus and Hathor. Finish your cruise in Luxor and behold the marvellous Valley of the Kings and splendid temples of Luxor and Karnak.

Day 9  Luxor  
Disembark and transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10  Fly home  
After breakfast this morning, transfer to Luxor airport for your flight home.
