Day 1  Cairo    
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.    

Day 2  Cairo    
Start your Egyptian adventure by exploring the iconic ancient Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx. Accompanied by an expert Egyptologist guide, discover the remarkable history of these extraordinary structures.    

Day 3  Cairo    
This morning you will visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum.  This museum is home to an incredible array of artefacts which date back to around 5,000 years ago and include the renowned Tutankhamun collection.    

Day 4  Cairo to Aswan    
Fly to the charming city of Aswan. Spend the rest of the day admiring the spectacular Nile Valley views and relax on the riverbanks watching feluccas sail past.  

Day 5  Aswan    
This morning take a short flight to Abu Simbel and discover this magnificent temple complex with a private guide. This ancient wonder is home to the impressive Ramses II temple with its colossal statues guarding the entrance and the Queen Nefertari temple, which has been masterfully carved into the red rock face.    

Days 6-8  River Nile Cruise  
Board the magnificent Movenpick MS Sunray, your home for the next three nights. Enjoy your days on board voyaging along the majestic River Nile. Visit Aswan’s impressive High Dam and the temple relics of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo to see its remarkable twin temple. Continue to Edfu to discover Edfu Temple, an ancient Egyptian place of worship, dedicated to the deities Horus and Hathor. Finish your cruise in Luxor and explore the iconic Valley of the Kings and the splendid temples of Luxor and Karnak.    

Day 9  Luxor    
Disembark and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.  

Day 10  Luxor    
Transfer to the airport for your flight home or head to the Red Sea coast to continue your adventure.
