Day 1 Nairobi, Kenya    
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Nairobi to Masai Mara NR        
Travel through tea and coffee plantations and into the Great Rift Valley before descending the Rift Escarpment and reaching the plains of the Masai Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Day 3 Masai Mara NR                    
Rise early for breakfast followed by a morning game drive or book a hot air balloon safari and view the reserve from above. After lunch set off on an afternoon game drive and visit a Masai village.

Day 4 Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP          
Drive to the shores of picturesque Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive, home to a host of bird species and large mammals such as hippos and baboons. Black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild's giraffe can also be spotted in the surrounding national park.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru NP to Amboseli NP              
Continue to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride. Leave the Great Rift Valley behind and head south, arriving in Amboseli National Park late afternoon.

Day 6 Amboseli NP    
Set off for a full day game drive with picnic lunch, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 7 Amboseli NP to Lake Manyara NP, Tanzania    
Leave Amboseli behind and cross the border into Tanzania. Continue south towards Lake Manyara, stopping for lunch in Arusha and arriving at your lodge late in the afternoon.

Day 8 Lake Manyara NP to Serengeti NP      
Spend this morning exploring scenic Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch at the lodge, depart for Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route.

Day 9 Serengeti NP    
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti, home to more than 3,000 lions as well as leopards, cheetahs and other big game. A hot air balloon safari can easily be added this morning.

Day 10 Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater            
Depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and your lodge set high on the crater’s rim, stopping for a picnic lunch en route.

Day 11 Ngorongoro Crater                
Descend through early morning mists into the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive.

Day 12 Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire NP                
Drive to Tarangire National Park. After lunch the remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive. Tarangire’s reliable water sources proves an irresistible draw to wildebeest, buffalos, zebras and elephants.

Day 13 Tarangire NP to Nairobi, Kenya                        
Transfer to Arusha for lunch, then cross the border into Kenya. Arrive into Nairobi in the early evening for dinner before transferring to the airport. Ask your consultant if you would prefer to end your tour in Arusha.
