Itinerary
Day 2 Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 3 Nairobi to Masai Mara NR
Travel through tea and coffee plantations and into the Great Rift Valley before descending the Rift Escarpment and reaching the plains of the Masai Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Day 4 Masai Mara NR
Rise early for a morning game drive or book a hot air balloon safari and view the reserve from above. After lunch, set off for afternoon game viewing and visit a Masai village.
Day 5 Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP
Drive to the shores of picturesque Lake Nakuru for an afternoon game drive, home to a host of bird species and large mammals such as hippos and baboons.
Day 6 Lake Nakuru NP to Amboseli NP
Continue to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride. Leave the Great Rift Valley behind and head south through Nairobi, arriving in Amboseli National Park late afternoon.
Day 7 Amboseli NP
Set off for a full day game drive with picnic lunch, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.
Day 8 Amboseli NP to Tarangire NP, Tanzania
Leave Amboseli behind and cross the border into Tanzania. Stop for lunch in Arusha before arriving at your lodge late this afternoon in Tarangire.
Day 9 Tarangire NP to Lake Manyara NP
Set out on an early game drive in this spectacular national park. After lunch, drive north through the park up the scenic escarpment to your lodge in Lake Manyara.
Day 10 Lake Manyara NP to Serengeti NP
Spend this morning exploring Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch depart for Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route.
Day 11 Serengeti NP
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti, home to more than 3,000 lions as well as leopards, cheetahs and other big game.
Day 12 Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and your next lodge set high on the crater’s rim, stopping for a picnic en route.
Day 13 Ngorongoro Crater
Descend through early morning mist into the striking landscapes of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive.
Days 14-15 Fly home
Journey to Arusha for lunch, then cross the border into Kenya. Arrive into Nairobi in the early evening and head to the airport for your flight home.
