Kenya & Tanzania Adventure

Day 1  Nairobi, Kenya    
Arrive in Kenya and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2  Nairobi to Naivasha
We travel west into the Great Rift Valley to the lakeside town of Naivasha. This is a lovely scenic route that takes us to Naivasha, which is where we stay for the night. While the crew set up the camp, you can enjoy a boat ride, where you have the chance to spot some of beautiful birdlife and elusive hippos.

Day 3  Naivasha to Lake Nakuru NP    
This morning, head to Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy a fascinating game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for endangered rhinos, bright flamingos, and elusive leopards. Admire the stunning view of the lake from Baboon Cliffs.

Days 4-5  Lake Nakuru NP to Masai Mara  
Journey into the Masai Mara, one of the most famous ecosystems in the world.  Over the next couple of days enjoy game drives in search of wildebeest, zebras, lions, and hyenas. Perhaps opt to experience a sunrise hot-air balloon safari or visit a traditional Masai village to meet the locals.

Day 6  Masai Mara to Lake Victoria, Tanzania    
Cross the border into Tanzania and set up camp on the shore of scenic Lake Victoria.

Days 7-8  Lake Victoria to Serengeti NP  
Head east to the endless plains of the Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa. Experience wild camping in the open bush at Seronera and enjoy the vast open spaces and variety of game.

Day 9  Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Crater    
Embark on a morning game drive to spot elephants and lions, before crossing to the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, the grassy plains and lush forest are home to an array of beautiful birdlife, including flamingos.

Day 10  Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha    
Look out for hippos in the muddy wallows on this morning’s game drive, before continuing the journey to Arusha.

Day 11  Arusha to Zanzibar    
Fly to Zanzibar this morning and spend the first night in Stone Town, where you can explore the myriad of small alleys and markets.

Days 12-13  Zanzibar    
Transfer to your hotel on the beach this morning. Spend the next couple of days relaxing on the beach, snorkelling, perhaps sailing in a dhow boat, and enjoying plenty of fresh seafood.

Day 14  Zanzibar    
Your tour comes to an end after breakfast today as you depart for the airport.
