Kenya Family Safari and Zanzibar Beach

Days 1-2  Nairobi, Kenya  
Fly overnight to Nairobi and upon arrival transfer to your hotel.  

Day 3  Nairobi  
This morning, head to the Giraffe Centre, home to a group of Rothschild’s giraffes, where you have the chance to feed them and learn more about this endangered animal. Continue to the nearby Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where the team will educate you on elephant behaviour and their history as the handlers feed them.  

Day 4  Nairobi  
After breakfast, you will be collected for your drive to Lake Naivasha. Listen out for the cry of the fish eagle as you take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, home to a population of hippos as well as a multitude of birdlife.  

Day 5  Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara NR  
Today it’s an early start as you set off for the 6 hour drive to the Masai Mara. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and later set off on your first game drive in the Masai Mara.    

Day 6  Masai Mara NR  
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in this fantastic wildlife area, where your guide will bring to life the secrets of the animal kingdom. Later in the day visit a local Masai village.  

Day 7  Masai Mara NR to Nairobi  
Set off for the 7 hour drive back to Nairobi.  We can also arrange light aircraft flights from the Mara to Nairobi – ask your Trailfinders travel consultant for details.  

Day 8  Nairobi to Zanzibar  
Head to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.  

Days 9-14  Zanzibar, Tanzania  
Enjoy a week relaxing on the exotic island of Zanzibar, where crystal clear turquoise water  laps powder white sand beaches.

Days 15-16  Fly home
