Laikipia & Masai Mara Fly in Safari

Day 1  Nairobi          
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Nairobi.          

Day 2  Nairobi to Laikipia Plateau          
Take a flight to Nanyuki and transfer to your lodge on the high plains of the Laikipia Plateau. This tour includes a stay at 4★ Sweetwaters Serena Camp which offers a diverse range of activities including game drives, bush walks and the opportunity to visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. This area is also great for horse riding and caneoing which are offered by other camps in the region, see below for alternative places to stay.          

Day 3  Laikipia Plateau      
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. With wildlife densities second only to the Masai Mara but a much lower number of visitors, the area provides a fantastic safari experience and is home to a wealth of endangered species such as black rhinos and wild dogs, as well as thousands of elephants, prides of lions and plenty of antelopes, zebras and birds.    

Day 4  Laikipia Plateau to Masai Mara NR      
Transfer to the airstrip and fly to your lodge in the Masai Mara National Reserve or one of its neighbouring private conservancies. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive.  

Day 5  Masai Mara NR          
Explore this game-rich area on morning and afternoon game drives. Why not add an early morning hot air balloon flight to complete your Kenyan safari adventure?    

Day 6  Masai Mara NR to Nairobi
After breakfast, take a flight back to Nairobi, or ask your Trailfinders travel consultant about flying directly to Mombasa for some time to unwind.
