Scenic Kenya (small group)

Day 1  Nairobi            
On arrival transfer to your hotel.                          

Day 2  Nairobi to Samburu NR        
Travel north through breathtaking mountain scenery and fields of tea and coffee, before reaching Samburu National Game Reserve in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive at nearby Buffalo Springs Game Reserve.                    

Day 3  Samburu NR          
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives at Buffalo Springs Game Reserve in search of many different species, including the endangered Grévy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe.

Day 4  Samburu NR to Nyahururu            
Venture south, stopping en route along the equator, before reaching the highest altitude town in East Africa. After lunch, embark on a walk to the impressive Nyahururu Falls and hippo pools.                          

Day 5  Nyahururu to Lake Naivasha      
Drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive exploring the abundance of rare animals, such as black and white rhinos and a variety of birdlife. Stop for lunch before continuing to Lake Naivasha, where you will enjoy a boat ride.

Day 6  Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara        
Journey on south to the majestic Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.      

Days 7-8  Masai Mara  
Enjoy two days exploring the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives around this classic safari country of wide open grasslands dotted with acacia trees. Why not add a hot air balloon trip to view the reserve from above?    

Day  9 Masai Mara to Nairobi            
Rise up through the Great Rift Valley towards Kenya’s highlands, travelling through tea and coffee plantations to reach the bustling capital, before transferring to the airport.
