Through The Rift Valley (private)

Day 1  Nairobi  
Arrive into Nairobi, Kenya’s capital and largest city, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2  Nairobi to Masai Mara NR  
Depart Nairobi and travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and down the Rift Valley Escarpment road. You will reach your camp in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy your first game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for big cat sightings as the reserve is famous for its high density of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Return to your camp as the sun begins to set.

Day 3  Masai Mara NR  
After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive across the open grasslands of the Masai Mara. Head back for lunch and time to relax before another game drive in the afternoon. Visit a traditional Masai village before returning to the camp to freshen up for dinner. Why not add a hot air balloon flight to view the reserve from above?

Day 4  Masai Mara NR to Lake Nakuru NP  
Leave the Masai Mara and pass through the vast plains of the Great Rift Valley, driving over the Mau Escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park. Spot wildlife as you travel through the park on the way to your lodge. After lunch, head out on a game drive to try to spot the Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos and the abundant birdlife that call the park home. Enjoy views of the hundreds of flamingos that flock to this beautiful lake.

Day 5  Lake Nakuru NP to Nairobi  
Today, journey to Lake Naivasha. The highest of the Rift Valley lakes, Naivasha is surrounded by forests of acacia trees and home to a variety of wildlife. Enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the lake, spotting giraffes grazing on the lush shores and African fish eagles flying overhead. Continue the drive to Nairobi for your onward travel arrangements.
