Morocco's Mountains and Beach

Day 1  Marrakech to High Atlas Mountains      
Fly to Marrakech, then enjoy a scenic ride to the High Atlas Mountains in your private transfer to your tranquil accommodation located in the foothills of the mountains.

Days 2-3  High Atlas Mountains  
Opt to rise early for a gentle morning hike to explore the stunning mountain scenery or enjoy a more challenging trek up Mount Toubkal. Visit the valleys of Ourika and Ourila and discover flora and fauna at Todra Gorge. Why not immerse yourself in local Berber culture and visit one of the traditional villages such as Imlil or the UNESCO World Heritage ancient village of Aït Benhaddou. Admire the architecture and try a traditional Moroccan mint tea.

Day 4  High Atlas Mountains to Essaouira
Transfer to the pretty coastal town of Essaouira where you will reside for the next four nights.

Days 5-7  Essaouira  
Famed for its atmospheric port and fortified UNESCO listed medina, you’ll be instantly immersed in a world of culture. Visit the historic harbour before weaving your way through the colourful lanes exploring spice souks and art galleries. Spend the rest of your time relaxing on the beach, learning to windsurf, trying your hand at some kitesurfing or strolling through the old Portuguese city walls and the town’s many wonderful artisan workshops and charming eateries.

Day 8  Essaouira to Marrakech      
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer back to Marrakech airport for your flight home.
