Itinerary
Day 1 Casablanca
Fly to Casablanca and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day discovering this cultural city and perhaps visit the Art Deco Villa des Arts, a gorgeous gallery dating back to the 1930s housing numerous exhibitions.
Day 2 Casablanca to Chefchaouen
Today, be driven to Morocco’s dynamic capital city, Rabat. Discover the key landmarks on a guided tour including the Royal Palace and Hassan Tower. Afterwards, stroll through Chellah, an ancient Roman and medieval necropolis, and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that boasts sweeping views over the Bou Regreg River. Continue driving towards the Rif Mountains and arrive in ‘The Blue Pearl’, Chefchaouen.
Day 3 Chefchaouen
Known as Morocco’s ‘Blue City’, explore at leisure and wander through its winding alleyways and cobbled plazas. In the afternoon, why not head to a panoramic viewpoint for stunning views over the city before relaxing in a traditional Moroccan Hammam (local spa).
Day 4 Chefchaouen to Fez
Continue to Fez and settle into your hotel. Often considered the cultural capital of Morocco, there is plenty to discover in this dynamic city.
Day 5 Fez
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Fez and immerse yourself in one of the most ancient cities in Morocco. Visit Fez el Bali, the walled medina, and historic Najjarine Square. Admire the colourful souks and craft shops as you weave through bustling stalls and watch the traditional tradesmen in action.
Day 6 Fez
Continue to discover this fascinating city at your own pace.
Day 7 Fez to Marrakech
Journey from Fez to Marrakech, visiting historical sites from Morocco’s imperial past and ancient civilisations en route. Head through the impressive gates of Meknes, one of Morocco’s former imperial cities. After, explore the heart of Moulay Idriss before wandering through the renowned ruins of Volubilis, the best preserved Roman city in North Africa. End the day with a scenic drive to the ‘Red City’, Marrakech.
Day 8 Marrakech
Enjoy a day to explore Marrakech at leisure. Perhaps visit the bustling Jemaa el-Fna Square, admire the colourful Jardin Majorelle and discover the historic Bahia Palace. In the evening, join your private food tour through the medina and souks, immersing yourself in the colour, spices and flavours of Morocco before enjoying a traditional dinner.
Day 9 Marrakech
Today, join your private tour to the Atlas Mountains. Drive through scenic valleys and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to enjoy stunning landscapes and to visit remote Berber villages. To make the most of the scenery, enjoy an energising hike ascending to 1,800m for panoramic views of Mount Toubkal followed by a delicious lunch. This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure.
