Itinerary
Days 3-6 Sydney
Welcome to Sydney! Your hotel is located in the vibrant Darling Harbour waterfront, teeming with fabulous bars and restaurants. Spend the next few days wandering the cobbled streets of the historic Rocks area down to the iconic Harbour Bridge. Experience the Sydney Opera House on an exciting backstage tour to explore the spaces normally hidden to the public and hear anecdotes and fun facts of past performers.
Day 7 Sydney to Port Stephens
Pick up your car and head north out of the city, following the picturesque coastline to Port Stephens which boasts powdery sand beaches and calm bays, perfect for snorkelling.
Days 8-9 Port Stephens
Why not enjoy a relaxing harbour cruise to spot the pod of playful bottlenose dolphins who reside in these nutrient-rich waters, or enjoy a scenic coastal walk through natural bushland to stunning Fingal Bay.
Day 10 Port Stephens to Hunter Valley
Leave the coast behind and journey inland to the rolling hills of the Hunter Valley.
Day 11 Hunter Valley
Australia’s oldest wine producing region boasts over 150 wineries and some of the finest vintages in the world. Tantalise your taste buds today as you sample the very best of the region’s product on a Hunter Valley Food & Wine Tour.
Day 12 Hunter Valley to Katoomba, Blue Mountains
A scenic drive through rural New South Wales brings you to the spectacular Blue Mountains, boasting rainforest, ancient caves and countless waterfalls.
Days 13-14 Katoomba, Blue Mountains
The dramatic surrounding scenery culminates here with the Three Sisters at Katoomba gazing out towards Mount Solitary. Enjoy a bush walk before a visit to the quaint village of Leura.
Days 15-16 Katoomba, Blue Mountains to Bondi Beach
Travel back towards Sydney and finish your adventure with a stay in the gorgeous Bondi Beach, with its fantastic café culture, boutique shops and world-famous stretch of beach.
Days 17-18 Fly home
Return your car at Sydney airport in time for your flight home.
