Itinerary
Days 2-3 Darwin
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The next day head out to the harbour on a relaxing Darwin Sunset Dinner Cruise.
Day 4 The Ghan Expedition
This morning, board The Ghan Expedition in Darwin and head south to Alice Springs. En route, stop in Katherine and explore its beautiful natural scenery, including the incredible Nitmiluk Gorge.
Days 5-6 Alice Springs
Your seven night small group adventure into the stunning Red Centre begins in Alice Springs. Meet your expert guides and learn what makes this unique outback outpost tick.
Day 7 Alice Springs to Kings Canyon
Depart Alice Springs and travel the Mereenie Loop through the Western MacDonnell Ranges. Visit Ormiston Gorge before arriving at Kings Canyon.
Day 8 Watarrka NP
Experience the wonders of Kings Canyon with your choice of a rim walk or a less strenuous option along the canyon floor. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to take a helicopter flight over Kings Canyon and Watarrka National Park.
Day 9 Kings Canyon to Uluru
Travel to the iconic Uluru. In the evening, attend the Wintjiri Wiru Sunset Dinner, a cultural storytelling experience, with choreographed drones, lasers and projections illuminating the night sky.
Days 10-11 Uluru
Over the next two days, experience all Uluru has to offer with guided walks, cultural talks, the Field of Light and a Sounds of Silence dinner under the stars.
Days 12 -13 The Ghan Expedition
Head back to Alice Springs, reboard The Ghan Expedition and enjoy a unique dining experience under a chandelier of stars at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. The following morning, stop in Manguri to venture into the opal mining township of Coober Pedy, where more than half of the residents live below ground. Here, enjoy lunch in the most unique of locations: underground before joining an Off Train Experience of choice.
Days 14-15 Fly home
This morning, you’ll see a dramatic change in landscape. Leave behind the rich ochre tones of the outback, journeying through the majestic Flinders Ranges and make your way to Adelaide to catch your flight home.
