Itinerary
Days 3-4 Cairns
Welcome to Cairns, the gateway to Tropical North Queensland. Explore the city before taking to the dazzling waters of the Great Barrier Reef to explore this incredible underwater wonderland.
Day 5 Cairns
Discover the ancient Daintree Rainforest on a tour of this picturesque region. Take a wildlife cruise on the Daintree River to search for crocodiles before visiting the spectacular beach of Cape Tribulation.
Day 6 Cairns to Airlie Beach
Today board the Spirit of Queensland train and follow the coastline south through the tropical Tablelands towards Airlie Beach.
Days 7-8 Airlie Beach to Hamilton Island
Transfer to Hamilton Island in the spectacular Whitsundays. Relax in the surroundings and enjoy a leisurely cruise to the famous Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet for incredible views.
Day 9 Hamilton Island to Airlie Beach
Head back to the mainland and spend the afternoon in Airlie Beach.
Days 10-11 Airlie Beach to Brisbane
After a day at leisure, board the Spirit of Queensland train to Brisbane. Arrive the following morning and explore the pretty streets and buzzing riverside. Day 12 Brisbane Spend the day at the fun-filled Tangalooma Island Resort, where you can enjoy a variety of amazing wildlife experiences.
Days 13-14 Fly home
