Queensland Coast with New Zealand Getaway

Days 1-2  Fly to Brisbane, Australia

Days 3-5  Brisbane  
Welcome to Queensland. The sunny state capital that boasts a variety of scenic outdoor attractions and museums.

Days 6-8  Brisbane to Noosa Heads  
Pick up your car and head to Noosa Heads, where stunning beaches and picturesque lakes give way to the lush everglades.

Days 9-10  Noosa Heads to Hervey Bay  
Today continue to Hervey Bay, famed as Australia’s whale watching capital between July and October.

Days 11-12  Hervey Bay to K’gari (Fraser Island)  
Drive to the River Heads and take the short ferry across to 3★+ Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island). The largest sand island in the world boasts pristine rainforest and vast beaches which you will discover on a guided 4WD tour.

Days 13-14  K’gari (Fraser Island) to Mooloolaba  
Take the ferry back to the mainland and head to Mooloolaba, a town with calm waters, pristine beaches and fresh seafood.

Days 15-16  Mooloolaba to Auckland, New Zealand  
This morning, drive to Brisbane and drop off your car before flying to Auckland, New Zealand’s vibrant cultural and economic hub. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Days 17-18  Auckland to Bay of Islands  
Embark north, pausing to admire the awe-inspiring Kauri tree. Continue to Bay of Islands, with its 144 islands, for a welcome dinner.

Day 19  Bay of Islands to Auckland  
Depart the Bay of Islands and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Auckland.

Days 20-21  Auckland to Rotorua  
En route to Rotorua, stop to observe the glowworms at Waitomo. Visit Te Puia and discover its Mâori cultural centre before discovering the geothermal activity at Whakarewarewa Valley.

Day 22  Rotorua to Wellington
Travel to Lake Taupô and Huka Falls. Afterwards, journey to Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.

Day 23  Wellington to Christchurch  
Cruise the Cook Strait before heading onwards to Christchurch.

Day 24  Christchurch to Fox Glacier  
Ride the iconic TranzAlpine train to Arthur’s Pass. The stunning Southern Alps region is home to the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.

Days 25-26  Fox Glacier to Queenstown  
Drive across Haast Pass to Queenstown, New Zealand’s adventure capital. The next day, enjoy a lakeside dinner.

Day 27  Queenstown to Te Anau  
Follow The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu to the incredible Fiordland National Park where you will cruise Milford Sound.

Day 28  Te Anau to Dunedin  
Journey through rugged countryside to the wildlife capital of New Zealand, Dunedin. Spot fur seals, rare penguins and the world’s only mainland-breeding albatross colony.

Day 29  Dunedin to Aoraki/Mount Cook NP  
See the Moeraki Boulders/Kaihinaki and visit the charming town of Oamaru before journeying to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.

Days 30-31  Fly home  
Journey to the waters of Lake Tekapo, stopping at the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd. Then continue to Christchurch in time for your flight home.
