Itinerary
The Ikara-Flinders Ranges offers an accessible outback experience less than six hours by car from Adelaide. En route, break for lunch in the Clare Valley, a premium wine region, before continuing north into the vast desert scrub. On arrival at Rawnsley Park, settle into your luxury Eco Villa.
Days 2-3 Rawnsley Park to Chace Range
Enjoy some time at leisure to perhaps cycle or hike the picturesque local trails. After lunch, depart for an exhilarating 15 minute helicopter flight over the spectacular natural amphitheatre of Wilpena Pound, before landing at a remote spot on the Chace Mountain Range. Your pilot will set up camp and start heating your dinner over the campfire, before leaving you for a night under the stars in your secure deluxe canvas swag. Cook your own bush breakfast before your local guide arrives for the five mile hike back to the station. Look out for kangaroos, emus and wedge-tailed eagles along the way!
Day 4 Rawnsley Park to Adelaide
Enjoy a final morning before returning to Adelaide.
