Itinerary
Days 3-5 Melbourne
Welcome to Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital is the perfect place to start your Great Ocean Road adventure. Enjoy the next couple of days exploring this bustling city, including a day spent on board the Q Train, sampling delicious local food whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.
Days 6-7 Melbourne to Grampians NP
Today, collect your motorhome and leave the city behind as you start for you adventure along this scenic coast. Head to the mountainous Grampians National Park, where you will spend the next couple of days. Explore the national park’s many walking trails and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife.
Days 8-9 Grampians NP to Apollo Bay
Hit the road as you join the Great Ocean Road at Torquay and head towards the golden sands of Apollo Bay. Spend a day exploring the impressive coastline and sampling the tasty local seafood.
Days 10-11 Apollo Bay to Port Fairy
Visit Port Campbell National Park, set along a breathtaking stretch of coastline and home to the iconic Twelve Apostles. Perhaps spend the following day on Griffiths Island with its striking lighthouse and an abundance of native animals surrounded by beautiful views.
Day 12 Port Fairy to Robe
Drive along the dramatic Shipwreck and Limestone Coasts to the seaside town of Robe. Stop off at the sweeping sands of aptly named Long Beach.
Days 13-14 Robe to Barossa Valley
Head north along the coast again before turning inland to the rolling vineyards of the Barossa Valley. Relax, sip delicious local wine and visit several beautiful wineries.
Days 15-16 Barossa Valley to Adelaide
Take the short drive back to Adelaide to drop off your motorhome before spending your final two nights exploring the vibrant city of Adelaide.
Days 17-18 Fly home
