Scenic South West with Doha Stopover

Day 1  Doha                  
On arrival in Doha, enjoy the remainder of the day relaxing at your hotel, soaking up the sun poolside or experience the city’s culinary delights.                

Days 2-3  Doha  
Spend the next two days discovering the city at your own pace with surprises around every corner. From Dhow Harbour, where traditional fishing vessels contrast with a backdrop of space-age skyscrapers to Souq Waqif’s vibrant labyrinth of alleyways.                

Day 4  Overnight flight        
Head back to the airport for your overnight flight to Perth.    

Days 5-6  Perth    
Discover laidback Perth, known for its sunshine, vibrant restaurant scene and connection to nature. Enjoy the landscaped gardens and Aboriginal heritage of Kings Park, or opt to explore nearby Rottnest Island and the historic port city of Fremantle.          

Day 7  Perth to Mandurah                    
Pick up your car and head south to the beautiful beachside town of Mandurah, with its white sand beaches and a buzzing foreshore with excellent restaurants.          

Day 8  Mandurah to the Margaret River Region            
Continue south to the Margaret River Region, which starts at the pretty town of Busselton on the Geographe Bay. Stretching along the ancient cave-carved coast from Cape Naturaliste down to Cape Leeuwin, it’s a truly spectacular coastline.                  

Days 9-10  Margaret River Region                
Spend two days in this beautiful wine destination. On one of your days, savour some of the exquisite varietals this region has to offer, complemented by food pairings on a winery day tour. In the evenings, make the most of the area’s award-winning restaurants which showcase the best of local produce.                    

Day 11  Margaret River Region to Pemberton          
Stop at the historic Australian mill town of Nannup before arriving at Pemberton.

Day 12  Pemberton          
Experience the magic of the towering Karri Forest in this magnificent and pristine wilderness area.    

Day 13  Pemberton to Albany          
The scenic countryside continues, along with great swimming beaches and walks along the Bibbulmun Track.      

Day 14  Albany                    
Explore the historic maritime town of Albany which boasts white sand beaches and impressive coastal scenery.            

Days 15-16  Albany to Esperance                
Drive along the magnificently rugged coastline to the quaint seaside town of Esperance where you share Lucky Bay – Australia’s whitest beach with the local kangaroos.          

Days 17-18  Esperance to Kalgoorlie            
Head north to the outback town of Kalgoorlie, the hub of Western Australia’s gold mining industry with plenty of historic tales and impressive architecture. Reminders of the wild and vibrant days of prospecting are everywhere you look.        

Day 19  Kalgoorlie to Perth                      
Journey through the rust coloured textures of the outback, stopping halfway at the town of Merredin to break the journey back to Australia’s sunniest city, Perth.    

Day 20  Perth                  
Head to the airport for your onward journey.
