Itinerary

Day 1  Perth    
Upon arrival to Perth you will meet your tour directors before setting off on an informative city tour which includes a visit to Kings Park, a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city.    

Day 2  Perth to Hyden    
Travel east through John Forrest National Park stopping in the historic town of York to explore York Motor Museum. Continue onto Hyden, home to the stunning Wave Rock – a 15-metre-high granite formation with vibrant colours and nearby ancient Aboriginal rock art.    

Day 3  Hyden to Kalgoorlie    
Journey towards the far east mining district of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and arrive in the afternoon to enjoy a town tour which includes a visit to the Incredible Super Pit mine, one of Australia’s largest open pit gold mines.    
   
Day 4  Kalgoorlie to Esperance    
Venture south through Kambalda and Norseman admiring spectacular wildflower displays along the way. Upon arrival at Esperance, take the scenic Great Ocean Drive route which includes Rotary Lookout and showcases Esperance’s scenic coastline of tranquil bays, soaring cliffs and beautiful beaches.    

Day 5  Esperance to Albany    
Head west travelling through Ravensthorpe and Jerramungup enjoying the views along the way. Visit Bluff Knoll Lookout in the majestic Stirling Range National Park with a guided tour before arriving in the whaling town of Albany.    

Day 6  Albany    
A short drive offers breathtaking views of the Natural Bridge and The Gap, dramatic coastal formations in Torndirrup National Park. Nearby, the Discovery Bay Tourism Experience features a captivating whaling museum that highlights the region’s maritime history. We continue with a spectacular marine cruise through Albany’s harbour aboard a catamaran, followed by a self-guided audio tour at the National Anzac Centre.    

Day 7  Albany to Margaret River    
Today we visit the Ancient Empire - a grove of veteran Karri and Tingle trees located within the Walpole-Nornalup National Park. To get a closer look, we will join the world class Valley of The Giants tree top walk, which soars gently upwards amidst the Tingle foliage. This afternoon we continue through the various state forests of the south west before arriving into Margaret River, Western Australia’s premium wine growing region.  

Day 8  Margaret River  
This morning we enjoy some local touring before heading to Cape Leeuwin where we join a guided tour of the old historic lighthouse. We make our way back to Margaret River for lunch and wine tasting, followed by an afternoon at leisure.  

Day 9  Margaret River to Rottnest Island
Head back to Perth and stop at Busselton on the shores of Geographe Bay and wander along Western Australia’s longest jetty. Continue through the scenic Tuart forests and Bunbury before joining the Rottnest Express to Wadjemup, Rottness Island for an overnight stay.  

Day 10  Rottnest Island to Perth    
Explore Rottnest Island on an informative coach tour and look out for the friendly quokkas! Enjoy free time before a relaxing lunch and heading back to Perth this afternoon.

Day 11  Perth to Kalbarri    
Journey north to Nambung National Park, home to the fascinating limestone formations known as The Pinnacles. Explore this unique landscape before travelling onwards through Geraldton and eventually reaching the small and scenic town of Kalbarri.

Day 12  Kalbarri to Monkey Mia    
The next destination is Kalbarri National Park, home to Red Bluff, a stunning lookout offering panoramic ocean views from atop 100-metre cliffs, great for spotting marine life. Visit Z-Bend for vibrant wildflower displays and the Kalbarri Skywalk before heading to Monkey Mia.  

Day 13  Monkey Mia  
Home to an abundance of wild dolphins, start your morning with the daily dolphin feeding experience (subject to appearance). Board a catamaran this afternoon to spot the bay’s diverse marine life from sharks to sea snakes.    

Day 14  Monkey Mia to Geraldton
Visit The Shark Bay Discovery Centre to learn about the region’s rich biodiversity before going to the Hamelin Pool Marine Nature Reserve to observe the marine stromatolites, or ‘living fossils’, afterwards head to Geraldton.    

Day 15  Geraldton to Perth    
A visit to the magnificent HMAS Sydney II memorial is a must as it is the second memorial outside of Canberra to be recognised as nationally significant. Departing Geraldton, we return to Perth along the ‘Wildflower Way’. We also travel via Australia’s only monastic town, New Norcia, taking a tour through the village - once hidden behind closed doors. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel.    

Day 16  Perth    
This morning, we experience a gold pouring at the historical Perth Mint before being transferred to the airport.
