Itinerary
Days 2-4 Perth
Welcome to Perth, home to beautiful parklands, great restaurants and gorgeous beaches close by.
Day 5 Perth to Cervantes
Pick up your car and journey up the Coral Coast. Stay in the quaint fishing village of Cervantes and explore the neighbouring Nambung National Park, finishing your day at the Pinnacles Desert to admire hundreds of limestone pillars rising out of the golden sands, glowing radiant in the light of the setting sun.
Days 6-7 Cervantes to Geraldton
Head north and stop en route at Greenough’s otherworldly leaning trees. The next day enjoy Geraldton’s historical foreshore or head into the wilderness where the views can be kaleidoscopic during wildflower season (Jun - Sep).
Day 8 Geraldton to Kalbarri
Continue to Kalbarri, pausing to admire the natural bright pink hues of the Hutt Lagoon lake en route.
Day 9 Kalbarri
Hike through Kalbarri National Park’s stunning gorges and sandstone rock arches and get a view from above at the skywalk. Or perhaps enjoy a canoeing trip along the Murchison River and marvel at the rugged outback landscape from the water.
Days 10-11 Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
Journey to Monkey Mia, famous for its white sand beaches and daily visits from the playful bottlenose dolphins that come to feed in the shallow, azure waters.
Day 12 Monkey Mia to Coral Bay
Today travel to beautiful Coral Bay. One of your longer drives, this route takes you to the southernmost point of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park. Snorkel straight from the beach over colourful coral gardens and keep an eye out for graceful manta rays and turtles.
Day 13 Coral Bay to Exmouth
The laidback town of Exmouth is the gateway to spectacular Ningaloo Reef for amazing animal encounters.
Days 14-15 Exmouth
A paradise for snorkellers and beach lovers alike, enjoy the calm, protected waters inhabited by over 500 species of brightly coloured fish and relax on the vast sandy beaches. Head out on an amazing trip to swim with whale sharks (Apr - Aug), the gentle giants of the ocean that grow up to 18m long.
Days 16-17 Fly home
Return your car to Learmonth (Exmouth) airport in time for your flight home.
