Day 11 Prince William Sound
Prince William Sound is abundant with incredible rivers of ice and towering glaciers. Get close to the glaciers on small expedition boats into the fjord or even exploring by kayak if weather permits. From the water, you may be lucky enough to sight humpback whales, bald eagles, otters and harbor seals.
Day 12 Icy Bay
Three glaciers feed into the bay’s waters to give Icy Bay its name. If conditions allow, explore in the small expedition boats or by kayak to immerse yourself in the remarkable beauty of this icy landscape and enjoy more opportunities to spot wildlife.
Day 13 Icy Strait
Sail into Icy Strait to take a closer look at some of the islands and islets. Using the expeditions boats, you may be able to land and embark on a nature walk along the rocky shores. In the evening, pass by Point Adolphus, located across from Glacier Bay National Park. The waters are known for attracting humpback whales and other marine life so be sure to have your camera at the ready.
Day 14 Haines
Arrive in the frontier town of Haines, originally home to the Chilkat Lingit People, where you can see their excellent weaving and artisan skills. Haines has a flourishing art scene with galleries and workshops where you will have the opportunity to take home some memorable souvenirs. The landscape is also ideal for hiking and wildlife spotting.
Day 15 Inside Passage
Explore Alaska in true expedition style in this magical corner of the Inside Passage. Conditions permitting, take to the water in the small expedition boats and seek out secluded coves and thickly forested shorelines. Try and glimpse sightings of bears, bald eagles, sitka black-tailed deer and moose. There may be the opportunity to land and explore the shore.

You may take to the water in expedition boats and investigate the secluded coves and shorelines or perhaps kayak through the waters if the conditions are right. Again, there are plentiful opportunities for spotting some of Alaska’s iconic wildlife.
Day 18 Klawock
Visit Klawock, a small town situated on the western shore of Prince of Wales Island. A centre for Lingit culture, you will see exquisitely carved totem poles within the Totem Park.

These waters are home to salmon, otters, sea lions, harbor seals, orcas and porpoises.
Day 20 Inside Passage
Cruise through the Inside Passage, taking you through the great North American Pacific Fjordland, a protected stretch of water over 930 miles long. The smaller expedition ship allows you to reach areas that larger vessels can’t, meaning you will get to explore lesser-travelled channels with breathtaking scenery. Keep your binoculars at the ready to catch sight of whales and perhaps even orca. In Princess Royal Channel keep a lookout for the elusive kermode bear.
Day 21 Alert Bay
