Itinerary
Day 1 Montréal to Hotel Sacacomie
Drive through small towns and rolling hills into the heart of the forest arriving at the traditionally built wooden lodge, Hotel Sacacomie. Spacious, alpine-style rooms await with either surrounding forest or lake views. The wrap-around terrace offers a panoramic vantage point to drink in the stunning views with an evening beverage.
Day 2 Hotel Sacacomie
Today, explore your new surroundings by heading out into the verdant forest on one of over 65km of hiking trails, all accessible from the lodge. Later in the afternoon, head back out into the Saint-Maurice woodland in an all-terrain vehicle with an experienced trapper and guide. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot bear and beaver, observing them interact in their natural environment from a purpose built cabin.
Day 3 Hotel Sacacomie
Spend this morning on majestic Lake Sacacomie. Glide out onto the water in a canoe, kayak or pedal-boat, keeping your eyes peeled for local wildlife and birdlife. Later, relax on the private beach or unwind in the delightful spa. Offering an exceptional and therapeutic experience, this combination of indoor and outdoor pools, hammam, sauna and cosy solarium are all built to be energy efficient and ecologically sound, and are designed with a consideration for mindfulness and calm. After relaxing in the warm waters, plunge into the icy waterfall or relax in the Northern Lights inspired luminotherapy sauna. Perhaps treat yourself to a spa treatment to fully complete your stay (payable locally).
Day 4 Hotel Sacacomie to Québec City
Take one final dip in the hot pools before travelling onwards into Québec.
Please note No children 13 & under for this summer package (mid May - mid Oct).
